About

Panchatv Bharat Limited is a manufacturer and wholesale distributor of denim fabrics in India. The company offers grey fabrics and finished denim fabrics, which are distributed across markets including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Haryana, and Rajasthan. Its denim fabrics are manufactured under its own brand through third-party manufacturing arrangements and a leased self-production facility. The company has partnered with manufacturing facilities in Narol and Piplaj, Ahmedabad, for outsourced production, where finished denim fabrics are produced from cotton yarn supplied by the company. The manufacturing process includes yarn warping, yarn dyeing, weaving through air jet looms, finishing treatments, and fabric inspection. The company also procures fabrics from distributors and suppliers for wholesale distribution. In addition to third-party manufacturing and trading activities, the company has set up a limited self-manufacturing line using leased machinery, with commercial operations yet to commence in full. The company was incorporated in March 2024.;

Strengths & Risks

Strengths
Risks
The company had a customer base of 98 customers in FY24-25, up from 83 in FY23-24. It served over 90 active distributors across six states as of March 31, 2025. Approximately 45.24% of its revenue in FY24-25 came from repeat customers.
The company operates through a third-party manufacturing model supplemented by limited self-manufacturing. This allows it to adjust production capacity based on changes in demand without requiring significant capital expenditure on manufacturing infrastructure.
The company has established sourcing relationships with approximately 15 raw material suppliers. These relationships provide access to cotton yarn and other inputs required for its denim fabric operations.
The company has expanded its sales network across six states. Its denim fabrics are distributed across markets including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Haryana and Rajasthan, while its promoters’ existing customer relationships were transferred to the company following the business transfer from their proprietorship concerns.
The company has a focused product portfolio centred on denim fabrics. Its offerings primarily include grey fabrics and finished denim fabrics, with production undertaken through third-party manufacturers as well as its leased self-production facility.
The company has begun establishing its own manufacturing capacity through leased machinery. It has set up a limited self-manufacturing line alongside its third-party manufacturing and trading operations, although commercial operations from this facility have not yet commenced in full.
The company has witnessed a consistent increase in its revenue from operations and profit after tax (PAT). Revenue from operations increased from Rs 24.45 crore in FY23 to Rs 39.31 crore in FY24 and Rs 48.99 crore in FY25. PAT increased from Rs 0.34 crore in FY23 to Rs 2.02 crore in FY24 and Rs 2.83 crore in FY25.
Panchatv Bharat has a limited operating history as a company. It was incorporated in March 2024 and acquired the businesses of its promoters’ proprietorship firms, which had been operating since 1994, 2017, and 2023. The limited operating history of the company makes it difficult to assess its historical performance and future prospects, and its revenues and profitability may fluctuate.
Panchatv Bharat operates in a competitive textile market and has relatively low profit margins. The company faces competition from both organised and unorganised players, while fluctuations in raw material and other operating costs could put further pressure on its margins. Increased competition or pressure on selling prices could adversely affect the company’s profitability and financial performance.
Panchatv Bharat’s manufacturing processes are currently fully outsourced to third-party manufacturers without exclusive arrangements. The company sources denim fabrics from manufacturing facilities in Narol and Piplaj, Ahmedabad, and relies on these parties for processes including yarn warping, yarn dyeing and finishing. Any disruption in their operations, increase in manufacturing costs, decline in product quality, or decision to cater to competitors on more favourable terms could adversely affect the company’s production and financial performance.
Panchatv Bharat depends on third-party suppliers for raw materials and finished denim fabrics, without long-term supply agreements. Its top 10 suppliers accounted for purchases of Rs 26.46 crore (57.06%), Rs 25.41 crore (64.61%) and Rs 14.10 crore (60.87%) in FY25, FY24 and FY23, respectively. Any disruption in supply or increase in purchase prices could affect its production, sales and margins.
Panchatv Bharat’s supplier base is concentrated in Gujarat. Approximately 29.91% of its suppliers were located in Gujarat in FY25, while 19.13% of its procurement expenditure was directed towards suppliers in the state. Any adverse political, social or economic developments, infrastructure disruptions, natural calamities or changes in local regulations in Gujarat could disrupt supplies and increase procurement costs.
Panchatv Bharat derives a significant portion of its revenue from its top 10 customers, without long-term contracts with them. These customers contributed Rs 23.04 crore (47.02%), Rs 28.89 crore (73.51%), and Rs 15.46 crore (63.23%) to revenue in FY25, FY24, and FY23, respectively. Loss of any of these key customers or a reduction in orders from them could adversely affect the company’s revenue, margins and financial performance.
Panchatv Bharat has a significant amount of its current assets tied up in inventories and trade receivables. As of March 31, 2025, its inventories stood at Rs 10.69 crore, while trade receivables stood at Rs 8.58 crore. Ineffective inventory management, delays in dispatch or failure to recover receivables on time could increase operating costs and adversely affect the company’s liquidity, cash flows and financial condition.
Panchatv Bharat’s revenue is heavily concentrated in Delhi. Delhi contributed Rs 41.59 crore (84.89%), Rs 32.30 crore (82.18%), and Rs 23.37 crore (95.57%) to the company’s revenue from operations in FY25, FY24, and FY23, respectively. Any adverse economic, competitive or other developments in Delhi could significantly affect the company’s revenue and results of operations.
Panchatv Bharat has experienced negative cash flows from operating and investing activities in the past. Net cash from operating activities was negative at Rs 0.40 crore in FY24, primarily due to an increase in inventory and trade receivables, while net cash used in investing activities was Rs 0.02 crore, Rs 0.05 crore, and Rs 3.10 crore in FY25, FY24, and FY23, respectively, primarily due to payments for capital assets. Prolonged negative cash flows could affect the company’s liquidity, business operations, and financial performance.
As of June 30, 2025, Panchatv Bharat had aggregate borrowings of Rs 7.52 crore. Any failure to service or repay these borrowings could adversely affect the company’s business, financial condition and cash flows.
