Key Stocks in Focus

Wipro has posted a net profit of ₹3,570 crore for the March 2025 quarter, reflecting a strong 26% year-on-year growth from ₹2,835 crore during the same period last year. Gross revenue of the IT major was at ₹22,500 crore ($2,634.2 million), registering a 0.8% quarter-on-quarter and 1.3% year-on-year growth. Still, the firm has released a subdued guidance, forecasting a possible 1.5% to 3.5% drop in constant currency terms for its IT services business revenue during the June 2026 quarter. The forecast, pinned on global uncertainty, has apparently cooled market euphoria, as evident from the reported fall of Wipro's American Depository Receipts (ADRs).

Infosys announced its March quarter (Q4 FY25) results today. Brokerage reports indicate a possible sequential revenue decline of 0.9% in constant currency and 1.2% in dollar terms for the IT services leader. Paytm will be under the limelight after the 2.1 crore shares held by its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Vijay Shekhar Sharma voluntarily surrendered. This is likely to trigger a one-time non-cash expense of ₹492 crore in the fourth quarter.

DLF has signed an agreement to sell its IT-ITeS SEZ project in Kolkata to Srijan Group for ₹693 crore. The sale is being done as a slump sale, and the sale includes 25.9 acres of freehold land and DLF Tech Park building with a gross leasable area of 1,054,357 square feet.
