BPCL's consolidated revenue from operations for Q4 FY26 came in at ₹1,34,947 crore, growing 6.33% year-on-year from ₹1,26,916.18 crore in Q4 FY25. 

On the profitability front, profit before tax for Q4 FY26 came in at ₹7,837.77 crore, a sharp improvement of 32.92% YoY from ₹5,896.76 crore in Q4 FY25. 

After accounting for total tax expenses of ₹2,213.23 crore, the consolidated net profit for the quarter stood at ₹5,624.54 crore, up 28.07% year-on-year from ₹4,391.83 crore. 

Basic and Diluted Earnings Per Share for Q4 FY26 came in at ₹13.16 per share, compared to ₹10.28 per share in Q4 FY25.

For the full financial year FY26, BPCL delivered a significantly stronger performance. Consolidated revenue from operations for FY26 grew 4.46% YoY to ₹5,22,820.41 crore, from ₹5,00,517.48 crore in FY25. 

The full-year profit before tax surged 91.35% YoY to ₹34,791.24 crore, from ₹18,182.30 crore in FY25. Consolidated net profit for FY26 nearly doubled, rising 93.78% year-on-year to ₹25,843.45 crore from ₹13,336.55 crore in FY25. 

Segment Performance and Other Key Highlights

BPCL operates across two reportable segments: the Downstream Petroleum segment and the Exploration & Production of Hydrocarbons segment. 

Downstream Petroleum remained the dominant segment, contributing ₹1,34,896.40 crore and ₹5,22,668.25 crore in revenue for Q4 FY 26 and FY26, respectively. Segment profit before tax, other income, and finance costs for FY26 stood at ₹34,595.53 crore, up significantly from ₹19,424.32 crore in FY25.

Exploration & Production of Hydrocarbons (E&P), through subsidiary BPRL, reported Q4 FY26 revenue of ₹51.50 crore and full-year revenue of ₹152.16 crore. The segment reported a loss before tax of ₹149.56 crore for the full year, narrowing from a loss of ₹335.30 crore in FY25, partly aided by the resolution of the Force Majeure situation at the Mozambique LNG project.

Domestic market sales grew 3.40% YoY to 54.18 MMT in FY26 from 52.40 MMT, while export sales rose to 1.54 MMT from 1.23 MMT.

Outstanding debt (excluding lease liabilities) reduced sharply to ₹10,480.09 crore from ₹23,277.72 crore as at 31st March 2025, reflecting significant deleveraging. The standalone debt-equity ratio improved to 0.11x from 0.29x.

On a consolidated basis, net worth rose to ₹1,00,170.26 crore from ₹81,384.08 crore, with consolidated outstanding debt at ₹43,481.91 crore.
