Vijay Solvex Limited is an India-based company engaged in manufacturing of edible oils. The Company operates through three segments: Edible Oils, Ceramics and Wind Power Generation. The Edible Oil segment includes vanaspati ghee, edible oils, oil cake and de-oiled cake, among others. The Ceramics segment includes insulators. The Wind Power segment includes electricity generation from wind power generators. The major products, which it manufactures and markets are mustard oil (Kachchi Ghani and Pakki Ghani), vanaspati ghee, refined soyabean/mustard oil under the SCOOTER brand. Its SCOOTER brand vanaspati ghee is made from hydrogenated vegetable oils and is white and grainy in texture. Its SCOOTER brand refined soyabean oil contains polyunsaturated fatty acids and monounsaturated fatty acids. It is diversified into bone China crockery, ceramic gift items, high tension porcelain insulators and wind power along with edible oils. Its plant locations include Alwar, Jaipur and Jaisalmer.;
