Tinplate Co-Amalgama

The Tinplate Company of India Limited is an India-based producer of tin coated and tin free steel sheets. The Company is engaged in the manufacturing of electrolytic tinplate. It is involved in production and sale of tinplate products, and sale of scrap and others. Its products include electrolytic tinplate (ETP), Tin Free Steel (TFS)/Electro-Chromium-Coated-Steel (ECCS), and Lacquered/Coated Electrolytic Tinplate Sheets. ETP is a cold rolled mild steel coil or sheet, coated on both sides with tin by a continuous electrolytic operation, which when flow melted forms a tin iron layer in between the steel base and the lustrous free tin layer. TFS/ECCS is an electrolytic chrome plated steel consisting of a thin layer of metal chromium and a layer of hydrated chromium oxide deposited on the steel base which gives it a lustrous metallic finish on both surfaces.
