What is realized and unrealized amount?

After selling your stock, the sell amount reflects in your Groww USD Balance immediately as an unrealized amount. Unrealized amounts cannot be invested or withdrawn. This unrealized amount becomes realized usually 2 hours before the following trading day, despite the system following a (T+2) settlement timeline. This realized amount can then be reinvested or withdrawn.
