The stock exchange has limits on how much you can trade at once.
For example, in NIFTY, the limit is 1800 shares per order, and in BANKNIFTY, it's 900 shares per order. These limits can change. If you want to place a large order, you can easily do it on Groww.
For instance, if you want to buy 10,000 shares of a NIFTY option (max per order is 1800), we divide this into smaller orders. We will make 5 orders of 1800 shares each and 1 order of 1000 shares.
Please note that you will be charged brokerage fees for all 6 orders.
