Why does my margin change when I have an open position in Derivatives?

Exchange charges various margins in the form of SPAN + Exposure + Additional Margins, when a client takes a position, and these margins are revised 5 times during the day. So, based on the latest margin requirement of the exchange, client's margin requirement may increase or decrease.
