Why are some of my shares locked?

Your shares may be locked due to one of the following reasons :-

1. You are trying to sell shares for which you have already placed a sell order. Please check whether there is an open order for these stocks by clicking the button below.

2. The stocks that you are trying to sell belong to the T2T category. T2T or Trade to Trade stocks can only be sold after they have been delivered to your demat account, which usually takes 1 day from the day you buy them. In this case, please try to sell the stocks once they have been delivered to your demat account.
