What is GTT?

Loading...
GTT (Good Till Triggered) is a feature that lets you set buy or sell orders for stocks at your chosen price, whether it's a market or limit price. Here's how it works:
  • Set a Trigger Price: You decide a trigger price, and when the market price hits that level, your order is automatically placed on the exchange.
  • Benefits of GTT
    • Buy or sell at a specific price without needing to watch the market all the time.
    • Once the stock price reaches your trigger price, your order is automatically executed.
    • GTT orders stay valid for up to 1 year, giving you plenty of time for the stock to reach your target price.
Notes:
  • If a buy order is triggered but you don't have enough funds in your Groww wallet, the order will fail.
  • If a sell order is triggered but your holdings aren't verified on the trigger day, the sell order will fail.
