Why was my stock limit order rejected or canceled?

Your limit order might have been rejected or canceled due to the following reasons:

1. Insufficient Funds or Holdings:
  • For buy orders, your Groww balance didn’t have enough funds.
  • For sell orders, you didn’t have enough shares in your verified holdings.
2. Price Outside Circuit Limits: Stocks have daily circuit limits. If your limit price is outside this range, the order will be rejected as the price is unreachable on that day.

3. Unverified T1 Holdings: If your T1 holdings (shares bought but not yet fully settled) are unverified, the order may be canceled. Verify your holdings before re-placing the order.

Ensure sufficient funds or shares, set a limit price within the stock's circuit range, and verify T1 holdings before placing an order.
