Why is my limit order not executed when the current price is as per my limit order?

Limit orders are executed on a first-come, first-served basis. Here’s how it works:

  1. Order Queue: When multiple limit orders are placed at the same price, they are filled in the order they were received. So, if other orders were placed before yours at the same limit price, they will be executed first.

  2. Market Liquidity: Even if the current price matches your limit, your order may remain unfilled if there aren’t enough buyers or sellers at that price to match all existing orders.

This means your order could be partially executed, fully executed, or remain unexecuted depending on market conditions and order priority.
