Why was my buyback bid not successful?

Your buyback bid may not have been successful due to the following reasons:
  1. Acceptance Ratio: The acceptance ratio is determined after the offer window closes. It depends on the number of shares tendered and the number of retail investors applying. If the demand exceeds the available shares, not all bids may be accepted.
  2. Possible Outcomes:
    • All Shares Accepted: If the number of tendered shares is within the offer limit, all your shares may be accepted.
    • Partial Acceptance: If demand exceeds availability, only some of your shares may be accepted.
    • Bid Rejected: If demand is very high or your bid doesn't meet criteria, your entire bid may be rejected.
The success of your bid depends on demand, the acceptance ratio, and the number of shares available in the buyback.
