Why was my buyback bid not successful?

The acceptance ratio for a buyback is calculated only after the offer window closes, and it is based on the number of shares tendered and the number of retail investors applying for the buyback.

There are three possible outcomes in buybacks:
* All the shares tendered are accepted,
* Only some of your shares are accepted, or
* The entire bid is rejected.
