Your shares may be locked due to the following reasons:
- Existing Sell Order: You have already placed a sell order for these shares. Check if there is an open order for the stock before placing a new one.
- T2T Stock Restriction: The stocks you are trying to sell belong to the T2T (Trade-to-Trade) category. T2T stocks can only be sold after they are delivered to your Demat account, which usually takes 1 trading day from the purchase date. You can sell these shares only after they are delivered to your Demat account.
