Can I invest using a credit/debit card?

You cannot add funds to your Groww account using a debit card, credit card, or wallet.

As per SEBI regulations, all market investments, including equity, derivatives, and mutual funds, must be conducted through a verified bank account. This requirement is in place to ensure that all financial activities are secure, transparent, and compliant with regulatory standards. It also ensures that the source of funds is legitimate and traceable, thereby upholding the integrity of the investment process.

To add funds to your Groww balance for trading in stocks and F&O, please use one of the following methods:

1. Net Banking
2. UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, BHIM, etc.)
3. Bank Transfer (IMPS/NEFT/RTGS)

For mutual fund investments, you can use:
