IREDA share prices closed at ₹154.99 on the 21st of March (3.35% higher) after opening at ₹149.96 earlier today. The opening price was slightly higher than yesterday’s (20th March) closing price of ₹149.66. However, the opening price on the 20th itself was much higher at ₹153.12 and this also surpassed the closing price of ₹151.87 on the 19th of March 2025. Opening prices for the 19th were ₹147.50 while closing prices stood at ₹145.95 on the 18th of March.
The stock did open above the closing price for three straight days, with the market reacting in a mixed manner to its perpetual bond issue news. It did touch ₹154.85 at midday, which was quite higher in comparison to the opening price, signaling buoyant reactions later on from investors, even though it did drop from a high of ₹156 sometime earlier today.
IREDA share prices have touched ₹154.85 at midday, which is sizably higher than the opening price of ₹149.96 today. This has buoyed investors and the growth momentum is expected to stay intact, particularly with news of the perpetual bond issue of the company (to raise ₹1,247 crore) finally trickling through to the market. The resultant pick-up may be due to this factor and the stock may hold its ground and potentially witness a surge as per current expectations.
After starting at a slightly lower threshold, IREDA shares started picking up in the first few sessions, hitting a high of ₹156 sometime earlier, before falling to the current figure. It is presently on a semi-downward spiral, although the recent highs could be retained as per experts.
IREDA share prices opened at ₹149.96 on the 21st of March, which is marginally higher (0.20%) than the closing price on 20th March, 2025- ₹149.66. Interestingly, the stock opened at ₹153.12 on the 20th which was higher than the closing price of ₹151.87 on the 19th of March, 2025. Opening prices on the 19th of March were ₹147.50 as well while closing prices on the 18th of March were ₹145.95.
Despite price changes and a slightly downward spiral, this is the third straight day that the stock has opened above its closing price. News of its perpetual bond issue to raise funds has not yet sparked off major trading volumes in the market, which led to its share price drop yesterday at closing. However, it has slightly picked up in terms of the opening and may witness a further upward trajectory by midday.
IREDA shares have touched ₹149.66 at closing, which is 2.25% lower than the opening price of ₹153.12 today, i.e. the 20th of March 2025. The previous day’s (19th March) closing price was ₹151.87 and the current closing price is 1.45% lower than the same. The opening and closing prices on 18th March 2025 were also ₹140.25 and ₹145.95 respectively.
At the same time, prices remained at high levels throughout the day, peaking at ₹154.55 before falling to a low of ₹149.17. However, it started reviving slightly afterward although there were a few dips in between. This development comes amidst IREDA’s announcement of raising funds to the tune of ₹1,247 crore through issuing its very first perpetual bonds. However, it has not permeated through the market in terms of surging share prices.
IREDA share prices have come down to ₹150.59 as of midday, which is quite lower in comparison to the opening price of ₹153.12 and yesterday’s closing price of ₹151.87. This comes despite the company announcing its plans to raise ₹1,247 crore through its first-ever perpetual bonds and also the fact that it will get more tax refunds in the future.
Prices stayed largely high early, hitting a peak of ₹154.55 before plunging sharply to ₹149.17. After a cyclical up-and-down pattern, it is steadily on the ascendant, although it will still take some time before it reaches its earlier threshold. The fund-raising news may also have an impact later in the day as per experts.
IREDA shares have opened at ₹153.12 today as compared to the previous closing price (19th March 2025) of ₹151.87. This indicates a percentage increase of 0.82%.
Historically, the stock has demonstrated interesting developments, touching a 52-week high of ₹310 on 15th July 2024, while touching a 52-week low of ₹124.40 on 20th March 2024. It has an average upper band of ₹160.54 and a lower band of ₹131.35. Annualized volatility stands at 60.56 while daily volatility is 3.17. The shares opened at ₹147.50 on 19th March 2025, while the opening and closing prices on 18th March 2025 were ₹140.25 and ₹145.95 respectively.
