IREDA Gains 0.18% to ₹161.80 as Loan Sanctions Hit ₹50,000 Cr

IREDA share prices closed at 161.80 today, approximately 0.18% more than the opening price of 161.50 on 2nd April. At the same time, the opening price was around 0.51% more than the closing price of 160.67 on 1st April. At the same time, the opening price was 160.40 on 1st April, while the closing price was 160.59 on 28th March. On this date, stock prices opened at 163.30, and this was more than the closing price of 161.66 on 27th March.

At midday, the share prices were at 159.77 and this happened after it peaked initially at 161.27 before sharply going down to 157.66 and then recovering to the midday figure. The stocks continue to be in focus among investors, particularly with news emerging of the company having sanctioned loans of around 50,000 crore, while its loan book has also grown by 28%.

IREDA share prices opened at 161.50 today (2nd April), and thereafter, dropped to 159.77 at midday. This indicates a de-growth of 1.07% from the opening price and was not expected by investors, especially after the stock opened higher than its closing price yesterday. The stock initially peaked at 161.27 after witnessing a slight drop and then fell sharply to 157.66 before jumping up steadily to 160.84 sometime earlier and then falling again to the current midday price.

IREDA stocks continue to be in focus, and it remains to be seen how the prices play out till the time of closing. The entity has recently sanctioned loans of about 50,000 crore with an approximate growth of 28% in the loan book.

IREDA share prices opened at 161.50 on 2nd April, which is 0.51% higher than the previous closing price of 160.67. This comes on the back of its reporting business performance for FY25, along with updates of having sanctioned loans close to 50,000 crore, with 28% loan book growth. Interestingly, the stock prices opened at 160.40 on 1st April as compared to the closing price of 160.59 on 28th March. 

The opening price on 28th March stood at 163.30, which was again higher than the closing price of 161.66 on 27th March. Hence, the stock has opened above its closing price for three straight days now and it remains to be seen whether it maintains this initial momentum throughout the day.
