Strengths & Risks

  • Sahaj Fashions possesses international loom technology sourced from Japan and Germany for fabric production. It facilitates the manufacturing of various fabric types, including cotton and polyester, as well as their blends like polyester-cotton and polyester-viscose.
  • Through strategic backward integration, the company has established a sizing plant, a pre-weaving process in fabric manufacturing. It has significantly enhanced production efficiency, enhancing the quality of the end product.
  • The comprehensive fabric portfolio includes various options such as cotton shirting fabric, cotton suiting fabric, cotton lycra fabrics, and polyester uniform fabric. Additionally, the company is well-equipped to accommodate custom orders.
  • Sahaj Fashions is currently involved in legal proceedings, including the company, its promoters, and its directors.

  • There are inherent risks associated with its manufacturing process. A slowdown, shutdown of manufacturing operations, or the underutilization of manufacturing facilities could severely harm the company's business.
  • Past financial records reveal instances of negative cash flows in some prior years.
  • The company has not made provisions for Gratuity Payment as mandated by The Payment of Gratuity Act 1972. Moreover, compliance with AS-15- Employee Benefits, as issued by ICAI, has not been achieved.
  • As of November 30, 2022, the company has obtained unsecured loans totaling Rs. 555.36 Lakhs, which the lenders could recall at any time.
  • To secure its financial arrangements, the company's lender holds a charge over its immovable properties related to the finance that the company has availed.
