Strengths & Financials of Indobell Insulations
Indobell Insulations Limited provides customised insulation solutions tailored to meet specific project requirements. The company offers insulation materials in various sizes, shapes, and densities, designed to suit client needs. These services include 3D and 2D design, manufacturing drawings, and thermal analysis of insulation. Additionally, the company offers installation services for clients seeking a one-stop solution for their insulation projects.
The company is ISO 9001:2015 certified for quality management systems, ISO 14001:2015 certified for environment management systems and ISO 45001:2018 certified for occupational health and safety systems. All these certifications are provided for the manufacturing of nodulated fibres as well as the design, supply, and application of thermal insulation materials.
Indobell operates strategically located manufacturing facilities in West Bengal and Maharashtra. The West Bengal facility specialises in producing nodulated wool and processing bulk fibres through stages such as slicing, slitting, and surface rotation. These facilities have integrated in-house processes. The company claims that this ensures the entire production cycle is completed internally for efficiency and quality control.
The company has seen a consistent increase in profit after tax (PAT), though the numbers are very small. PAT increased from Rs 0.15 crore in FY22 to Rs 0.90 crore in FY23 to Rs 1.03 crore in FY24.
The company’s revenue from operations is largely dependent on a single business segment: thermal insulation products. For the six months ended September 30, 2024, and FY24, FY23, and FY22, products such as mineral fibre nodules, ceramic fibre nodules, and prefabricated thermal insulated jackets contributed approximately 52.76%, 61.23%, 68.59%, and 49.52% respectively to the total revenue from operations. Any adverse developments affecting this particular segment could significantly impact the company’s revenue generation and financial performance.
A major portion of revenue is dependent on a limited number of customers. The top 10 customers accounted for approximately 83.58% for the six months ended September 30, 2024, and 94.04%, 92.47%, and 85.80% for FY24, FY23, and FY22, respectively, to the revenue from operations. If the company loses any of these clients, or if business from any of these clients declines significantly, it could adversely affect the company’s operations and finances.
The company’s operations rely heavily on the continuous functioning of its manufacturing facilities. Any disruptions caused by machinery breakdowns, power outages, or temporary shutdowns could adversely affect the company’s finances and operations.
The company, its directors, promoters, and group companies are currently involved in certain ongoing legal proceedings. Any adverse judgments in any of these cases could be detrimental to the company’s business prospects.
As of the six months ending September 30, 2024, the company reported financial indebtedness of Rs 3.81 crore. Any inability to repay or service these loans could adversely affect the company’s financial position.
