What’s the penalty for premature withdrawal of Equitas Bank fixed deposit?

A penalty of 1% on the applicable interest rate is applicable if your fixed deposit is less than 6 months old. After 6 months, no penalty will be charged for premature withdrawal.

Note: Premature withdrawal is not applicable for tax-saver deposits.
