National Fertilizers Limited (NFL), incorporated in 1974, is a Government of India enterprise and a key player in the country's fertilizer industry, focused on supporting the agricultural sector. Its vision is to become a leading Indian company in fertilizers and beyond, demonstrating a profound commitment to serving the interests of all its stakeholders. The company's mission is to be a dynamic organization dedicated to serving the farming community and other customers by ensuring the timely supply of quality products. NFL operates five gas-based Urea plants across Punjab, Haryana, and Madhya Pradesh, which have a combined annual revamped production capacity of 35.68 Lakh Metric Tonnes. Besides Urea, the company also manufactures allied industrial products like Nitric Acid and Ammonium Nitrate, and trades in certified seeds, agrochemicals, and other agro-inputs. In the 2023-24 fiscal year, the company achieved its highest ever sales of 69.74 LMT of fertilizers, showing significant growth in its business operations.;
