Deccan Gold Mines

Deccan Gold Mines Limited is an India-based gold exploration company. The Company is involved in gold exploration activities in the states of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh where the activities have resulted in defining a number of gold prospects spread across these states. The Company’s projects include Jonnagiri Gold, Bhalukona-Jamnidih, Dharwar-Shimoga Belt, Hutti-Maski Belt and others. The Jonnagiri Gold Project is situated in the Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh, India. The Company has explored various regions spanning approximately 6,574 square kilometers (kms). These regions include Dharwar Shimoga Belt, Hutti-Maski Belt, Mangalur Schist Belt and Ramagiri Schist Belt. The Dharwar-Shimoga Belt Project area forms part of Archaean Western Dharwar Craton in the State of Karnataka. The Company's subsidiary, Deccan Exploration Services Private Limited, explored an area of 5000 km2 of the Dharwar-Shimoga Greenstone belt covered under two RP blocks and identified 22 gold prospects.;
