Ahead of its IPO, Anupam Rasayan raised around Rs 225 crores from anchor investors on March 10. The IPO is open for public subscription between March 12 and 16. The price band is Rs.553 to Rs.555 per equity share.

March 10: Funds Raised From Anchor Investors

The company has decided to allocate 40.48 lakh shares to 15 anchor investors at Rs 555 per share.
Aditya Birla Sunlife Mutual Fund, Sundaram Mutual Fund, IIFL Special Opportunities Fund, Nomura Funds Ireland Public Ltd Company, SBI Life Insurance Co, Malabar Select Fund, Max Life Insurance and Fidelity International.

The anchor book witnessed participation across different investor categories: domestic mutual funds, alternative investment funds, foreign portfolio investors and insurance companies; and across geographies.

Anupam Rasayan India Ltd. is engaged in the business of custom synthesis and manufacturing of specialty chemicals in India. The company’s primary focus is on developing in-house innovative processes for manufacturing products requiring complex chemistries and to achieve cost optimisation.

There are two distinct business verticals in Anupam Rasayan:

  • Life science-related specialty chemicals comprising products related to agrochemicals, personal care, and pharmaceuticals; and
  • Other specialty chemicals, comprising specialty pigment and dyes, and polymer additives.
