The initial public offering of 2025’s first Infrastructure Investment Trust (InvIT), Capital Infra Trust InvIT, will close today, January 9.
The IPO is a book-built issue worth ₹1,578.00 crores. This offering includes a fresh issue of 10.77 crore shares, amounting to ₹1,077.00 crores, along with an offer for sale component of 5.01 crore shares, valued at ₹501.00 crores. The allotment date is January 10, 2025, followed by listing on January 14, 2025.

As of the third day, the IPO received 0.04x subscription from qualified institutional buyers, followed by non-institutional investors at 1.91x. The total subscription rate stood at 0.88x.
The price band is set between ₹99 and ₹100 per share.
The minimum application lot size is 150 shares, requiring retail investors to invest at least ₹15,000. For sNII (Small Non-Institutional Investors), the minimum investment is 14 lots (2,100 shares), totalling ₹2,10,000. Meanwhile, bNII (Big Non-Institutional Investors) must invest a minimum of 67 lots (10,050 shares), amounting to ₹10,05,000.
Capital Infra Trust, formerly known as National Infrastructure Trust, is an infrastructure investment trust (InvIT). Sponsored by Gawar Construction Limited (GCL) and established on September 25, 2023, the trust undertakes infrastructure investment activities in compliance with the SEBI InvIT Regulations.
The proceeds from the offering will primarily be allocated to repay or prepay external borrowings and settle unsecured loans.
