Knowledge Realty Trust Shares Make Positive Debut on Stock Market, List at 4% Premium

Knowledge Realty Trust, India's largest office real estate investment trust (REIT) launched its Initial Public Offering (IPO) on August 5, 2025. The bidding window for the IPO was open till August 7, 2025 for public subscription. The shares of Knowledge Realty Trust made a strong debut on the NSE today, on August 18, 2025, listing at a 3% premium over the IPO price band. 

The shares of Knowledge Realty Trust opened at ₹104 on the BSE, marking a premium of 4% over the IPO price band of ₹100. However, the shares listed at ₹103 on the NSE, showing a 3% gain over their issue price.

Overall, the Knowledge Realty Trus listing was above the grey market expectations. Ahead of the listing, unlisted shares of Knowledge Realty Trust were trading at a premium of ₹2, hinting at a 2% listing gain.

IPO Details

Knowledge Realty Trust REIT IPO was a bookbuilding of ₹4800 crores. The issue was entirely a fresh issue of 48 crore shares. The IPO price band was set between ₹95 to ₹100 per share. The minimum lot size for an application was 150 and the minimum investment amount required for retail investor was ₹14,250 (150 shares).

Kotak Mahindra Capital Company Limited was the book-running lead manager of the Knowledge Realty Trust REIT, while Kfin Technologies Limited wasthe registrar for the issue.

Knowledge Realty Trust REIT IPO Day 3 Subscription Status

On Day 3, Knowledge Realty Trust REIT IPO saw a subscription of 12.48 times. The public issue subscribed 0 times in the retail category, 9.07 times in QIB, and 16.57 times in the NII category.

It owns a large portfolio of 30 high-quality office properties across India’s top cities like Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Chennai. These properties span over 48 million sq ft, with about 37 million sq ft already developed and leased to major global companies. 

In FY25, KRT reported revenue of ₹4,146.9 crore and a net profit of ₹222.5 crore.
