What is Annual Percentage Rate (APR), and how is it different from the Interest Rate?

The Interest Rate provided  Part 1 – Interest Rate and Fees/Charges, Point 7 (Annualized Interest rate (%)) under is the rate charged on your loan, while APR as provided under Part 1 – Interest Rate and Fees/Charges, Point 10 (Annual Percentage Rate) shows the overall annual cost of the loan, including the interest rate and applicable charges.

Example: If the interest rate is 18% and applicable loan charges are also considered, the APR may be higher than 18%. The exact APR applicable to your loan is provided in the KFS.

The “Computation of APR for Loans” section in the KFS explains how the APR is calculated.
