Functions of Sikkim RTO

Sikkim Vehicle Registration

To register your vehicle, go to the nearest RTO. The registering authority will examine your vehicle and verify the paperwork you provide. You will be awarded an RC if your car passes the test and your documents are validated.

Required Documents for Sikkim RTO Vehicle Registration

You must register your vehicle within seven days after purchasing it. The following documents are required to register your vehicle:

  • Form 21
  • Sales Certificate
  • Insurance certificate in good standing.
  • Certificate of clearance (for imported automobiles).
  • Address proof.
  • Certificate of tax clearance.
  • Another document that the state government requires.

How to Get a License from RTO Sikkim?

Here's how to apply for a driving license in Sikkim online.

  1. Visit parivahan.gov.in/parivahan for more information.
  2. Select 'driving license-related services' from the 'online services' menu.
  3. Choose Sikkim.
  4. Select 'apply online' and then 'new driving license.'
  5. Continue by clicking the button.
  6. Enter your learner's license number and birth date.
  7. Fill out the application form with the necessary information.
  8. Continue by uploading the form online.
  9. Additionally, you can upload the documents and pay the fees online.
  10. A unique application number will be assigned.
  11. Then go to the RTO and make an appointment for your DL test.
  12. On the day of the DL test, read the RTO.

Documents Required to Get a License from RTO Sikkim?

  • Form 2- the application for a Sikkim RTO license.
