RTO Lakshadweep

How to Register a Vehicle with RTO Lakshadweep?

To establish ownership, you must register your car with the Lakshadweep RTO. The previous RC book, however, has been replaced with a smart card, which is normally set by the dealer. 

Permanent: Initially awarded for 15 years, then renewed in 5-year increments.

Temporary: Valid for one month only.

Documents Required to Register a Vehicle with RTO Lakshadweep

  • Form for submitting an application.
  • Forms 21 and 22A for roadworthiness and sale.
  • Address Verification.
  • A duplicate of the PAN card.
  • Certificate of Purchase.
  • A copy of the insurance policy for the car.
  • Invoice from the dealer for the owner.
  • Invoice from the manufacturer to the dealer.
  • If hypothecated, use Form 34.

How to Get a License from RTO Lakshadweep?

To apply for the driving license online in Lakshadweep, follow the steps outlined below -

  • Step 1: Navigate to the Transport section of www.lakshadweep.gov.in.
  • Step 2: Select the Driver's Licence option.
  • Step 3: Print the application form after downloading it.
  • Step 4: Submit the finished form to the LD RTO.
  • Step 5: Submit all required paperwork.
  • Step 6: Request a driving test slot from the LD RTO.
  • Step 7: If you pass this test, you will receive your driver's license in 2 to 3 weeks.

Documents Required to Apply for a License in RTO Lakshadweep
