PNB mPassbook

PNB mPassbook is an online passbook application provided by the PNB Bank. The digital version of this passbook allows PNB customers to easily track their account details, download mini statements and check their transaction history anytime. 

One can access the m-passbook app of PNB using their PNB Bank customer ID and registered mobile number. This post discusses the features of the Punjab National Bank mpassbook and login process.

Features of PNB mPassbook

Customers can access the following features and benefits by using the mpassbook PNB application:

  • 24x7 Availability: Customers can access the PNB Bank mpassbook 24X7 from anywhere at their convenience. 
  • Customer ID-based Registration: It allows its customers to register using their PNB Bank customer ID to access multiple accounts at once.
  • MPIN-based login: It allows users to log in using their MPIN. Thus, there is no need to memorise and remember usernames and passwords.
  • View Account Details: PNB customers can also get detailed information about their accounts, such as IFSC code, account number, branch name and transaction details, from the mpassbook.
  • Download Mini Statements and Account Statements: Customers can download their mini and detailed account statements on the Punjab National Bank mPassbook application. 
  • Send e-statements through email: Customers can use the mpassbook app to send detailed statements to their registered email addresses. 
  • Locate PNB Branch/ATM: Through mpassbook, one can also locate the nearby PNB branches and ATMs.
  • Generate statements for different accounts: Customers can generate mpassbook statements for savings, recurring, overdraft, and current accounts through the mPassbook app.

Details Included in PNB Bank mPassbook Application

PNB  digital passbook or mpassbook application includes the same details that are present in the regular passbook. Given below are the details that are included in the application:

  • Account holder’s name, address, registered phone number
  • PNB account number and customer ID
  • Branch address
  • IFSC Code
  • Transaction details, including debit/credit amount, transaction date, time and transaction ID

PNB mPassbook Login Process

Customers who have an account with the Punjab National Bank can register for the mpassbook application using their PNB mpassbook customer ID. After registration, the customer can log in to the mpassbook account either through PNB mobile banking or the mpassbook PNB application. 

Given below are the steps for the login process:

a) Through Mobile Application

Here are the steps that should be followed to access the mpassbook services through mobile banking: 

  • Download the PNB mBanking application on your smartphone from Play Store or App Store.
  • Once downloaded, launch the app and sign in with your mobile banking PIN or MPIN.
  • Once logged in, check for the ‘mPassbook’ option.
  • Select the account number and click the ‘Continue’ button on the next screen.
  • The user will now be able to access their digital Passbook. The previous transaction data, along with the date and time, will be displayed on the screen.

2) Through PNB mPassbook App Download

The mPassbook application is the second way through which one can log in and check their passbook details online.  Here are the steps that can be followed for mpassbook PNB login:

  • Download the mPassbook application of PNB. 
  • Activate the mPassbook by entering your PNB-registered mobile number and customer ID.
  • Create an MPIN for security and login purposes.
  • Log in to the mPassbook application using the MPIN.
  • Enter the PNB account number. 
  • On the next page, the digital passbook will be displayed on the screen, including your account details and the last ten transactions.
  • One can even select the latest 90 days of account statements and download them on their smartphone for future use.

Requirements for PNB mPassbook login

There are certain requirements that must be met in order to access the mPassbook application of PNB. These are:

  • Individuals who wish to use the Punjab National Bank mPassbook must be PNB retail customers with a registered mobile phone number.
  • Customers using Android mobile devices can only download this app if their operating system is version 5.1 or higher. For iOS users, it should be version 9 or above.
