Automakers released June auto sales numbers. Major automakers posted a positive trend in sales figures. Tata Motors, Ashok Leyland, M&M, and other companies recorded a significant rise in sales.

The rise is on the back of lower sales figures last year when most of the companies were facing semiconductor shortages and the resulting supply constraints along with macro-economic factors like the Russia-Ukraine war and exchange volatility.

The supply chain-related bottlenecks have relatively eased by now and a few companies have onboarded new vendors to address the shortages.
