IOB Balance Check Number

Any individual who has an account with Indian Overseas Bank can check their Indian Overseas Bank account balance using any of the following methods:

• Through SMS
• Through Missed Call service
• Through ATM
• Through USSD Code
• Through Net Banking
• Through Mobile Banking
• Through IOB mPassbook
• Through UPI

Customers of Indian Overseas Bank can check their account balance by sending a text to IOB Balance enquiry number  8424022122. The user needs to send a message in the following format from their registered mobile number:

 "BAL<Last four digits of Account Number>."

Indian Overseas Bank offers missed call service for balance enquiry. IOB customers can make a missed call to Indian Overseas Bank Balance Check number - 9210622122 from their registered mobile number. The user will soon receive a message containing their account balance on their registered mobile number.

To check the Indian Overseas Bank account balance through an ATM, follow the steps mentioned below:

• Go to any nearest ATM.
• Swipe the IOB Bank ATM card and enter the 4-digit ATM PIN.
•  Select ‘Balance Enquiry’ from the options displayed on the ATM screen.
• The Indian Overseas Bank account balance will be displayed on the screen.

IOB account holders who do not have access to the internet can use the option of USSD to check their account balance:

• Step 1: Dial *99*52# from the registered phone number.
• Step 2: Choose the preferred language.
• Step 3: Enter the IFSC code of your IOB Bank branch.
• Step 4: Make a request for the Indian Overseas Bank balance check.
• Step 5: Follow the instructions to check your IOB Bank account balance or obtain a mini statement.
• Step 6: Soon, the account balance details will be sent to the registered phone number.

Users of IOB online banking or Internet banking can use their net banking account to access their IOB account balance. Here are the steps for IOB Balance Check through IOB Internet Banking:

• Go to the Indian Overseas Bank Internet banking portal (https://www.iobnet.co.in).
• Log in using your net banking user ID and password.
• After logging in, go to the ‘View Account Details’ option.
• Select ‘Check Account Balance’. The available balance in your account will be displayed on the screen.

Customers can check their IOB Bank account balance through the Indian Overseas Bank Mobile Banking application. Below are the steps for the IOB Bank balance check process through mobile banking:

• Download IOB mobile banking app from the Play Store or ioS store.
• Open the application and log in using your registered mobile number or MPIN.
• After logging in, go to the ‘My Accounts’ options.
• Click on ‘View Account Balance’. The current balance of the Indian Overseas Bank account will be displayed on the screen.

IOB m-Passbook contains all the details of the customer’s debit and credit transactions. It is a digital passbook or e-passbook, and hence, all the transaction details of the customers get updated here automatically. Customers can also download the Indian Overseas Bank m-Passbook app and log in with their MPIN for balance enquiry.

IOB customers can also use the UPI app on their smartphones to check the balance of their IOB account:

• Open any UPI app on the smartphone.
• Enter the security code to unlock the app.
• Select the account for which you wish to view the Balance.
• Check your Balance by clicking the ‘Check Account Balance’ option.
• Enter the UPI PIN.
• The account balance will be displayed on the screen.
