How to Register for TMB Internet Banking Services?

The process to register for the TMB bank net banking services is mentioned below:

Step 1: The user must visit the Tamilnad Mercantile Bank official portal (https://www.tmbnet.in/).

Step 2: Select the Net Banking Login option. Click on the “register as a new user” on the login page.

Step 3:  After agreeing to the terms and conditions on the next page, the user will be directed to a new page. Enter the required details, such as bank account number, pan card details and date of birth.

Step 4: After all details have been entered and submitted, the user will get an OTP on their registered phone number.

Step 5: Enter the OTP and click on submit to verify.

Step 6: After this, the user will be asked to create a new password.

Step 7: After you create the password and click on submit. A pop-up will be displayed on the screen, showing  'registration done.'

Documents Required for TMB Net Banking

TMB Internet Banking service does not require many documents; nevertheless, you must submit a few particular details into a registration form. These are:

  • Registered Mobile Number
  • Bank Account Number
  • CIF Number, Branch Code, Country Name, and ATM Card Information
  • Pan Card

TMB Net Banking Login Process

Here is the procedure explained to log in to the Tamilnad Mercantile Bank net banking portal:

Step 1: First, go to the Tamilnad Mercantile Bank website.

Step 2: Click on the log-in page.

Step 3: Enter the user ID and password that was created during the registration process. Click on Proceed.

There is a requirement to change or reset the TMB net banking password in the following cases:

  1. The Tamilnad Mercantile Bank internet banking password has been forgotten.
  2. The TMB net banking password needs to be changed or reset for security reasons.

The process to change or reset the TMB netbanking password is:

Step 1: Log in to the TMB net banking portal.

Step 2: On the log-in page, click the ‘forgot password’ option.

Step 4: Enter the required credentials, such as customer ID, registered phone number, and more.

Step 5: After entering the details and clicking submit, the user will receive the one-time password on their registered phone number.

Step 6: Enter the OTP to verify it and click on ‘Proceed’.

Step 7: The user will be taken to a new page to create a new password.

Step 8: Create a new password and hit enter after confirming it. Your new password will be generated which can be used to log in to the Tamilnad Mercantile Bank net banking portal.

Tamilnad Mercantile Bank Mobile Banking

Along with TMB e-banking services, the bank also provides the services of TMB mobile banking. This enables the customers to use the services of the bank from their mobile 24/7. 

There are four ways to register for the TMB m-banking facility:

  •  Internet Banking

Internet Banking has the option of general services where the customers can choose to register for mobile banking.

  •  ATM

The user can opt to activate the TMB mobile banking services through the counter of the Tamilnad Mercantile Bank ATM.

  •  Tamilnad Mercantile Bank Branch

The customer can physically visit the bank and fill out a form to activate mobile banking services.

  •  TMB Bank Mobile Application

The customers can also enable mobile banking by downloading the Tamilnad Mercantile Bank app and logging in as new users.

Charges and Transaction Limit of TMB Mobile Banking Services

One can use the TMB m-banking services for free. However, there are daily transaction limits for transferring funds through the mobile banking app. As per the latest RBI guidelines, one can transfer a maximum amount of Rs. 50,000 per day using the TMB mobile banking services.
