Normally, you must visit the bank with your physical passbook to check your account transaction activity. However, with Indian Bank mPassbook, you can now check your passbook online and observe account activity from anywhere at any time.
Indian Bank mPassbook is a service that allows clients to view their passbooks in digital form from any location. Any Bank account holder can download the digital passbook app and examine their account transaction history online using their smartphone. This takes away the need to visit the bank for actual passbook printing to check account statements.
There is no requirement to install a separate application because the Indian Bank mPassbook capability is available through Mobile Banking. All you need to do is open Indian Bank Mobile Banking and examine the digital passbook from the convenience of your own home.
First, you must install and activate the Indpay mobile banking application on your phone; you can find detailed instructions here on activation-
Step 1: To view your passbook, log in to the Indian Mobile Banking app with your MPIN and look for the "m-Passbook" area. Simply tap to activate this option.
Step 2: On the next screen - enter your account number and press the view button. You may now see your account's transaction history. If you want to save the specifics of your account transactions, hit the PDF icon button, and they will be saved in your phone's memory.
Senior citizens can utilize the Indian mPassbook (a digital passbook) to examine account transaction details online without having to print the traditional passbook. Customers of Indian Bank can also use the free Indian Bank net banking service to view account information.
The bank also provides an e-statement option for receiving account statements via email. To use the e-statement service, you must first register your email address.
