  • Step 2: Once you have gotten this form, you can enter all of the details into it correctly. Details such as - name, services needed, address, email ID, and more. You will then have to submit it to the bank where you opened your account - which means your home account.
  • Step 3: Once you finish submitting the form to the bank, initiate the process of internet banking activation.
  • Step 4: The bank will then activate your net banking services on the very same day that you submitted your application form or the next day.
  • Step 5: Once it has been activated, you will know your User ID and your password. Now you can use these credentials to log in to the net banking of CBI.

How to Log In with the CBI Internet Banking?

  • Step 1: You will have to visit the official portal of the bank and select the login tab.
  • Step 2: You will receive a pop-up that will tell you some tips. After you go through that, you will need to click on the option of proceeding.
  • Step 3: On the top left of the screen, you will see three options. You can click the option that says - online password.
  • Step 4: After that - you will have to enter your phone number.
  • Step 5: There will be an OTP that is sent to your registered phone number.
  • Step 6: Now, use this to log in, and change it once you are in and use the new password.

How to Create the New Password for CBI Net Banking?

Here is the procedure to generate a new password for yourself on the portal of net banking and avail the services:

  • Step 1: You will have to select the online password option on the login page.
  • Step 2: Enter your 10-digit CIF number and register your cell number.
  • Step 3: Now, choose the option generate - then click on next.
  • Step 4: An OTP or one-time password will be sent to your phone.
  • Step 5: You can use this to log in and then change the password.

What is the Process of Creating a Transaction Password?

  • Step 1: You will have to log in using your User ID and the password.
  • Step 2: You need to go to the options menu in the CBI net banking site and choose the transaction password generation option.
  • Step 3: Enter the phone number that is registered with your account.
  • Step 4: There will be an OTP sent to your number, which will automatically expire.
  • Step 5: Now, you can set a new T-PIN with your OTP in three minutes.

How to Add a Beneficiary in the Net Banking of CBI?

To transfer the funds - the recipient will have to be added as a beneficiary. In order to add the beneficiary, you need to follow the steps that are mentioned below:

  • Step 1: You will have to log in to the CBI net banking.
  • Step 2: You need to go to the fund transfer and then click on the option that says add a beneficiary.
  • Step 3: You will now have to choose CBI or any other bank.
  • Step 4: After that, either the bank or the branch with the IFSC code needs to be mentioned.
  • Step 5: You need to fill in all of the needed details with the beneficiary's nickname. 
  • Step 6: Once all of these details have been given, you can click on submit.
  • Step 7: After confirming the beneficiary, you will have to enter the grid values for authentication.
  • Step 8: You will see the display of the beneficiary being successfully added.
