  • Step 2: Once you have gotten this form, you can enter all of the details into it correctly. Details such as - name, services needed, address, email ID, and more. You will then have to submit it to the bank where you opened your account - which means your home account.
  • Step 3: Once you finish submitting the form to the bank, initiate the process of internet banking activation.
  • Step 4: The bank will then activate your net banking services on the very same day that you submitted your application form or the next day.
  • Step 5: Once it has been activated, you will know your User ID and your password. Now you can use these credentials to log in to the net banking of CBI.

Steps to Register for CBI Net Banking

If a user already holds an account with the CBI bank, they can easily register for the net banking services. The process to register for the CBI Net Banking is mentioned in detail below:

  • Go to the Central Bank of India Internet banking website (https://www.centralbank.net.in/#/). 
  • Select the ‘Application Form’ option under the ‘Quick Links and Services’.
  • The user will be directed to a new page. Select ‘Personal Internet Banking’ or ‘Corporate Internet Banking’ and download the application form.
  • Take a printout and fill out all the details into it correctly. Then, submit it to the nearest CBI Bank branch.
  • Once the user submits the form, the bank will initiate the CBI Net Banking activation process.
  • Once it has been activated, the bank will provide the User ID and password. The applicant can use these credentials to log in to the Central Bank of India Net Banking portal.

CBI Net Banking Login and Activation

After registering for net banking services, the users can log in to the Central Bank of India Internet Banking portal through their user ID and password. Below are the steps for CBI Personal Internet Banking login and CBI Corporate Net Banking login.

Login Process for CBI Bank Personal Net Banking 

CBI Personal Banking users can follow these to log in to the net banking portal:

  • Enter the User ID, Password and Captcha Code on the next page. Then, click on ‘Continue’.
  • Enter the registered phone number. 
  • Enter the OTP sent to the registered phone number for account verification.
  • Click the ‘Submit’ button to access the net banking portal.

Central Bank of India Corporate Net Banking Login

CBI Corporate Banking users can follow these to log in to the net banking portal:

  • Go to the Central Bank of India Net Banking website (https://www.centralbank.net.in/#/).
  • Select the ‘Login’ option under Corporate Banking.
  • Enter the Corporate ID, User ID, Password and Captcha Code on the next page. Then, click on ‘Proceed’.
  • Enter the registered phone number. 
  • Enter the OTP sent to the registered phone number for account verification.
  • Click the ‘Submit’ button to access the Central Bank of India corporate net banking portal.

How to Generate Central Bank Net Banking Password?

Here is the procedure to generate a new password for Central Bank of India Net Banking:

  • Step 1: Go to the CBI Internet Banking login page. Click on ‘Generate Online Password’
  • Step 2: Enter your 10-digit CIF number and registered phone number.
  • Step 3: Now, choose the option ‘Generate Password’ and click on the ‘Next’ button.
  • Step 4: An OTP or one-time password will be sent to your phone.
  • Step 5: Enter the OTP. The user will be redirected to the password generation page.
  • Step 6: Create a new password. Confirm the password and click ‘Submit’.

How to Add a Beneficiary in the Net Banking of CBI?

To transfer the funds - the recipient will have to be added as a beneficiary. In order to add the beneficiary, you need to follow the steps that are mentioned below:

  • Step 1: You will have to log in to the CBI net banking.
  • Step 2: You need to go to the fund transfer and then click on the option that says add a beneficiary.
  • Step 3: You will now have to choose CBI or any other bank.
  • Step 4: After that, either the bank or the branch with the IFSC code needs to be mentioned.
  • Step 5: You need to fill in all of the needed details with the beneficiary's nickname. 
  • Step 6: Once all of these details have been given, you can click on submit.
  • Step 7: After confirming the beneficiary, you will have to enter the grid values for authentication.
  • Step 8: You will see the display of the beneficiary being successfully added.

How to Create a Transaction Password(T-PIN) for CBI Bank Net Banking?

To create a transaction password for CBI Internet Banking, the user need to follow the steps below:

  • Log in to the CBI online banking with the User ID and password.
  • Choose the ‘Generate transaction password’ option.
  •  Enter the phone number that is registered with the bank account.
  •  An OTP  will be sent to the registered number. Enter the OTP to proceed to the next step.
  • Set a new T-PIN or transaction password.
  • Re-enter the password to confirm it.

How to Transfer Funds through CBI Bank Net Banking?

After successfully activating the Internet banking services, the users can easily transfer funds through CBI Bank online banking services. The online transfer can be made to their own CBI Bank account or to other CBI accounts. 

Here are the steps to transfer funds through Central Bank Net banking:

To Other CBI Accounts

  • Log in to the Internet banking portal of CBI (https://www.centralbank.net.in/#/).
  • Select 'Transactions'. For transferring funds to another CBI Bank account, click on the 'Within CBI' option.
  • Now, select the beneficiary account for fund transfer. If the beneficiary account is not added, select the option ‘Add Beneficiary’ and enter the beneficiary account number, IFSC code and name of the beneficiary.
  • Now enter the amount that needs to be transferred along with the date of the transaction.
  • Click on 'Continue' and enter your transaction password to complete your transaction.

To Other Bank Accounts

Users can transfer funds to other bank accounts through IMPS, NEFT or RTGS services. 

Given below are the steps to transfer funds through NEFT/IMPS/RTGS:

  • Log in to the CBI Personal Internet Banking or Corporate Internet Banking.
  • Select ‘NEFT/RTGS/IMPS’ under the 'Transactions' section. 
  • Select the beneficiary account for fund transfer.
  • Enter the transaction amount and date of the transaction. Click on 'Continue' to proceed further. 
  • On the next page, enter the transaction password to complete your transaction.
