About the Company
Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) is one of the oldest continuing U.S. market indexes spanning over 100+ years. It entails a list of 30 blue-chip U.S. stocks. The term was added to its name because originally, it was curated by accumulating all the stock prices and dividing by number of stocks which ultimately is the 'average' formula. To date, the approach remains the same but the divisor has been changed. DJIA is also one of the best-known indicators globally; one reason being it has been there for many years and many investors' generations have grown fond of and used to it and the second reason is the U.S. stock market which is the biggest in the world.;
