This company operates through various business corridors, including Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Africa, America, and OEM. American segment of the company engages in interventional urology products. Its European, Middle Eastern, and African segments engage in the sale of urology products. The Asian segment manufactures, designs and distributes medical devices primarily for critical care, cardiac care, surgical application and general hospital purposes. The company’s OEM part manufacturer, designs, and supplies devices for other medical manufacturers. Teleflex, Inc. has a workforce comprising 14,000 employees. The company, over time, expanded to operating multiple markets and acquired several companies. These include Franklin Medical Ltd. (1985), Willy Rusch AG (1989), Warne Surgical Products Ltd. (1985), Access Surgical (1993), Pilling (1991), Unimed (1994), Nextex (1993), Europe Medical (1994), General Medical OEM Division (1994), Simal (1994), Fehling (1994), Asid Bonz (1996), Endoscopy Specialist, Inc. (1995) and Comcorp Technologies (1997). These acquisitions helped the business enter into designing and building as well as the support of medical devices. This move would begin in 1981, with the construction of the polymer plant in New Hampshire. Several acquisitions of the company weren’t in line with the company’s interest. That’s why refocus on the medical sector began in March 2009. The company ranked at 302nd in World’s Best Employers in 2020 and 1479th in the Global 2000 2020 list.
