Las Vegas Sands Corporation has its headquarters in Paradise, Nevada, United States. In 2004, its shares began trading on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) under its ticker symbol of LVS. LVS shares are also included in the S&P 500 stock market index. Alongside its operations in the US, Las Vegas Sands Corporation also operates in China and Singapore. This company develops and operates world-class resort properties that feature accommodation, convention and exhibition facilities, restaurants and clubs, as well as art and entertainment. Its resorts are known for their Meetings, Incentive, Convention as well as Exhibition (MICE) facilities, and serve both business and leisure tourism markets. Las Vegas Sands Corporation’s portfolio includes some internationally renowned properties, such as The Venetian Las Vegas (United States), Marina Bay Sands (Singapore), The Plaza Macao (Macao), The Londoner Macao (Macao), Sands Macao (Macao), The Palazzo Tower (United States), The Parisian Macao (Macao), Sands Expo & Convention Center (United States), and The Venetian Macao (Macao). Las Vegas Sands inaugurated The Venetian Macao in 2007, which was the world’s largest inhabited building at that time. That same year, it opened The Palazzo Las Vegas, which replaced the Pentagon to become the United States’ largest building at that time in terms of floor space. Las Vegas Sands Corporation also owns a fleet of 10 aircraft, including an Airbus A340, 7 Boeing 737s, and one Boeing 747 and Boeing 767 each. Las Vegas Sands Corporation is also one of the largest publicly traded casino companies in the world. Forbes recognised LVS as one of the Top Multinational Performers in 2017 and America’s Best Employers in 2018. In 2019, it ranked 134th on Forbes’ list of World’s Best Employers. As of 2021, Forbes included Las Vegas Sands in its lists of America’s Best Employers By State and Global 2000 2020, where LVS ranked 500th. Las Vegas Sands Corporation also ranked 235th on the list of Fortune 500 companies.;
