TalentNeuron is used for managing workforce and planning recruitments.

Over the years, Gartner acquired several companies and expanded their business operations. In 2005, it purchased META Group, a leading provider of advisory services, IT research and strategic consultancy, for $162 million. The company acquired two companies in 2009 – Burton Group, Inc. and AMR Research Inc., for $56 million and $64 million, respectively. In 2014, IT purchased Software Advice in a transaction valued at approximately $150 million. The company acquired Nubera and Capterra in 2015 for undisclosed amounts. This chain of mergers continued in 2016 when IT bought-off Machina Research and SCM World. As of January 2021, its latest acquisitions took place in 2017 when the company purchased L2 and CEB.
