Hilton Worldwide Holdings Inc., previously known as Hilton Hotels Corporation is an American multinational hospitality company headquartered in Tysons Corner, Virginia. Conrad Hilton established the company on May 31st, 1919, and presently it manages and permits a broad portfolio of hotels and resorts. As of 2020, the company is associated with 18 brands in 118 countries and territories with more than 6,300 properties worldwide. In February 2016, the company declared that it would change its hotel holdings to a real estate investment trust. As of 2018, the company is a fully self-reliant publicly traded company. It is one of the most acknowledged Frequent Guest Programs in the US, with its success and prosperity spreading worldwide. Hilton Inc. acquired loyal customers and took care of customer satisfaction by directing guests to Hilton properties globally. In February 2016, Hilton Inc. revealed its intention to outgrow its timeshare and real-estate businesses, setting up three independent public companies. The company was first listed under the S&P 500 component on June 19th, 2017. It has also been a financer of the United State Olympic Team. In 1999, Hilton acquired Promus Hotel Corporation, including the Red Lion, Hampton Inn, Homewood Suites Brands and the DoubleTree. In 2019, the company employed approximately 173 thousand individuals globally. Hilton Inc. recorded the highest hotel brand value in 2019 and was estimated at $7.4 billion. As per a report, Hilton ranked first in the list of 2012 Happiest Companies in America. In 2016, it was recognised as one of the World’s 25 Best Multinational Workplaces by Fortune. The company has achieved a 100% score on the Corporate Equality Index each year from 2014-2017. In 2019, Fortune ranked number 1 in its list of “100 Best Companies to Work For”. In 2020, Hilton extended 1 million rooms as a response to the pandemic by remodelling for guests and productive impact for communities. In 2021, the company is planning to make 21 new Hilton properties. Hilton Worldwide Holdings shares, trades under the ticker symbol HLT on the New York Stock Exchange.;
