Flowserve offers products under its brands like Byron Jackson, INNOMAG, IDP, Durco, Flowserve (its namesake brand), Pleuger, SIHI, Worthington, Durametallic, Pacific Wietz, Edward, McCANNA, Nordstrom, Limitorque, Valtek, Logix, IPS, Valtek, Atomac, etc.
Flowserve was incorporated in 1997, as a public company, and started trading in the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol “FLS”; it is also an S&P 500 company. Though it was incorporated in 1997, its history dates back to 1970 when Thomas Simpson founded the Simpson & Thompson company. It then later changed to Worthington Simpson Pumps and finally became Flowserve after merging with Durco International and BW/IP.
After its merger, it has acquired 14 significant companies till 2015. They were Stork Engineering Pumps in 1997, Ingersoll-Dresser Pumps and Innovative Valve Technologies Inc. in 2000, Invensys’ Flow Control division in 2002, Thompsons Kelly & Lewis in 2004, Interseal’s assets in 2005, HydroTechnik in 2006, MF Sealing Systems in 2007, Calder AG in 2009, Valbart Srl in 2010, Audco India Limited and Innomag Sealless Pumps in 2013 and Sihi Group in 2015.
Over the years, it has been recognised by many prestigious platforms due to their corporate abilities. Some of its recognitions are Forbes 2018 America’s Best Employers list, Ventana Research Leadership Award in 2017 etc. On 21st August 2007, it was recognized as one of the CIO 100 Award Honourees by CIO magazine.;
