Aurora is the world's second-largest cannabis business by market valuation, after only the Canopy Growth Corporation. On October 23, 2018, the firm began trading on the NYSE under the symbol ACB. The company was founded in the year 2006 by Terry Booth, Steve Dobler, Dale Lebsack, and Chris Mayerson and the company was then established as a public traded company in the year 2017. Aurora owns Pedanios GmbH in Berlin, Germany, and is a wholesale importer, exporter, and distributor of medicinal cannabis in the Union. By volume of goods sold, Pedanios is the EU's largest cannabis distributor.;
