Ideal Investment Duration: 5-7 Years
Disclaimer: I am an amateur investor, so any suggestions would be appreciated. Also I have created this profile in mind for investors who would regularly balance their funds(every 6 months- 1 year) based on market performance.
In this fund list I have tried to make a balance between the various aspects, at the same time maximising long term gains.
The balancing has been done with respect to:
1. AMC- I haven't chosen more than 1-2 fund from a particular AMC, this would remove the portfolio's exposure to a particular fund house.
2. Capitalisation- Small, Medium and Large - All these has been represented in the fund, but in different percentages, depending on the current market scenario.
3. Sectoral Investments- There are a few sectoral investments in Finance, IT and Infra. I see IT giving returns in the short term, Finance to provide stability and Infra to bounce back in the next year or so.
