About Global Health

Global Health Ltd. is one of the largest private multi-specialty tertiary care providers operating in the North and East regions of India in terms of bed capacity and operating revenues. Its key specialties are in the areas of cardiology and cardiac science, neurosciences, oncology, digestive and hepatobiliary sciences, orthopedics, liver transplant, and kidney and urology. Under the “Medanta” brand, it has a network of five hospitals currently in operation in Gurugram, Indore, Ranchi, Lucknow, and Patna, and one hospital in Noida, which is under construction. The company has healthcare services in over 30 medical specialties and engages over 1,300 doctors led by experienced department heads spanning an area of 4.7 million sq. ft. and its operational hospitals have 2,467 installed beds. ;

  • Experienced senior management team with institutional shareholder support.
  • Its total income, earnings per share (EPS), net asset value (NAV), return on net worth (RoNW), net profit margin, return on capital employed (RoCE) is; and its price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio, enterprise value (EV) to EBITDA ratio, and market capitalization to total income ratio may be less than that of some of the listed comparable industry peers.
  • Its subsidiaries, MHPL and GHPPL, have incurred losses in the preceding fiscals.
  • Inability to attract/retain doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Any failure to manage the costs associated with healthcare services like manpower costs, infrastructure maintenance and repair cost, and high medical equipment cost.
