You may not be able to sell your shares due to the following reasons:
- TPIN Verification Not Completed: If e-DIS (TPIN) verification is incomplete and your DDPI is not enabled, you need to authenticate your holdings via TPIN to sell shares.
- Existing Open Orders: Check for any open or pending orders for the same shares. These must be completed or canceled before placing a new sell order.
- Trade-to-Trade (T2T) or Locked-In Shares:
- T2T stocks can only be sold after delivery (T+1 day).
- Locked-in shares cannot be sold until the lock-in period ends.
- Low Liquidity: Stocks with low trading volumes may lack buyers, making it difficult to sell.
- Shares in Pledge: Shares pledged as collateral cannot be sold unless they are unpledged.
- Stock in Ban or Restrictions: The stock may be under an exchange-imposed ban or regulatory restrictions, preventing trading.
Always verify the status of your shares in your holdings and ensure all necessary conditions are fulfilled before selling.
