The execution price of your order may differ from the market price due to the following reasons:
- Market Fluctuations: Prices can change rapidly during market hours. The price may vary between the time you place the order and when it is executed.
- Order Type:
- Market Orders: Executed at the best available market price, prioritizing speed over price. The executed price may differ from the last quoted price.
- Limit Orders: These execute only at your specified price or better. If the price doesn’t match your limit, the order remains unexecuted.
- Bid-Ask Spread: The difference between the highest bid price and the lowest ask price can cause variations, especially in less liquid markets.
