What is intraday position?

Intraday position is the net total of all the orders that you have placed under the intraday mode that have been executed on the exchange for today.

Example: You bought 20 stocks of ABC and sold 10 stocks of ABC. Your delivery position will be 10 stocks of ABC.

If some of the orders have not been executed, it won't show in your positions.

Example: You placed an order for 10 stocks of ABC but only 5 got executed. So, on your delivery position, only 5 will show.

Intraday position can be negative also since you can short-sell.

Example: You bought 10 stocks of ABC and sold 20 stocks of ABC.
