Why is trading in some futures and options not allowed?
Trading is blocked when a future/option is found to be risky. A future/option may be considered risky for any of the following reasons:- If its trading volume is very low
- If its open interest is very low
- If its expiry period is greater than 3 months
- If it has been banned by the exchange
