How to close my Groww Demat account?

Your Groww Demat account has no annual maintenance charges, so you won't have to pay anything for holding shares or leaving the account idle.

Before deciding to close your account, consider these alternatives:

Facing Losses? Use the 'F&O Pause' feature to temporarily stop trading and reassess.
No Time to Invest? Try 'Mutual Fund SIPs' or 'Stock SIPs' for easy and systematic investing.
Employer Restrictions? We can work with your organization to make Groww a preferred broker. Just share your organization’s name by clicking here.

If you still wish to close your account, follow these steps:

Sell your holdings and square off positions in your Demat and trading account.
Click on 'NEXT' below.
Confirm the closure by clicking 'Accept and Continue.'

Please note that it will take at least 5-7 days to open a new account with the same PAN on Groww after account closure, subject to other conditions.
