Why was my stock order executed at a different price than the limit I specified?

A limit order lets you buy or sell a stock at your chosen price or a better price.
  • Buy Limit Order: Executes at your set price or a lower price, never higher.
  • Sell Limit Order: Executes at your set price or a higher price, never lower.
Example:
Suppose you place a buy limit order with these details:
  • Current Market Price: Rs. 105
  • Limit Price Set: Rs. 100
If the market price drops from Rs. 105 to Rs. 95, your buy order will execute at Rs. 95, giving you the stock at the lower price and saving Rs. 5 per share.

If your order does not execute at the expected price, please contact our support team for help.
