Why did my GTT order fail?

Your GTT (Good Till Triggered) order may have failed for the following reasons:
  1. Insufficient Funds or Holdings:
    • Buy GTT Orders: Lack of sufficient funds in your account when the GTT is triggered will result in order rejection.
    • Sell GTT Orders: The order will fail if you don’t hold enough shares or positions in your account at the time of execution.
  2. Price and Trigger Conditions: The trigger price may have been outside the allowed price range or mismatched with the Last Traded Price (LTP).
  3. Market Conditions: Low trading volumes or lack of buyers/sellers may prevent the order from being executed.
  4. Expired GTT Order: GTT orders have a validity period. If the trigger condition is not met before the order expires, it will fail.
  5. TPIN Authorization (Only for Stocks): If DDPI is not enabled, TPIN verification is required for sell GTT orders. Failure to complete this authorization on the day of execution will cause the order to fail.
